An Embroidered Handkerchief

A handkerchief is both delightfully old-school, thoroughly sentimental, yet ruggedly practical. I received a special one for my wedding and it's probably the gift I use the most--it's always with me. And I use it. The best thing about a handkerchief is that it's long-lasting. I carry it with me if I have a cold; if I need to ride the subway and don't want to touch the pole with my bare hand; if I need to pick something up like I'm in a murder mystery novel.
