Winter Palace Hotel

It's a tie between this one and Mena House in Cairo... both are so old-world and gracious, I could not get enough of both hotels... I was here for a week when I was eighteen and I was just knocked for six with how magnificent everything was. The people-watching from the cornice, the history, the pool, the bedrooms... whoa.
