My Mother’s Trench Coat

My mother’s Burberry trench coat has been a touchstone for me since my very early 20s, when she passed it down to me when I started my first “real” job. It’s always reminded me of the faith she had in me, but more than that, it connects me still and always to the woman she was before me. It’s sentimental, cherished, and well-loved. My trench is over forty years old and still in superb condition. Well worth the investment for a piece that has lasted two lifetimes!
