M65 Jacket Red Dry Waxed Poplin

There is nothing more impressive to me than knowing the proper name and backstory for an article of clothing. The M-65 is a workhorse and a chameleon: it was originally issued as part of a GI's uniform for the Vietnam War, but quickly evolved to be worn by protestors, the IRA, freedom fighters, and now it's en vogue. I've always found M-65s to be eminently practical and functional jackets if you pick the right one--and this is the right one.
